• What we’ll do
So you’ve made it through winter and you’re more than ready for spring! Spring Framework, that is – the popular and powerful framework for building Java-based enterprise applications.
This workshop will give you an introduction to basic Spring concepts. It is expected that you have at least some knowledge of Java (i.e. this is not a “how to Java” workshop). The workshop will use Spring 5.
More details about this event will be posted soon, but for now you can reserve your spot. We only ask that you keep others in mind when you RSVP, as places are very limited. Only RSVP yes if you reasonably expect that you can attend.
About the workshop host, Abraham van der Vyver
Abraham is an engaging and fun trainer who has a wide range of technical know-how. He is an experienced Java developer with over 10 years’ experience and for 5 of those he has been using the Spring Framework. Over his career he has worked in a variety of industries and projects from a mission critical information warfare platform, to an investment management tool for financial planners, to a system for completing high priority tax returns. Most recently he has been working on an energy re-selling platform a part of his work as a consultant with Trifork.
He has a deep passion for learning and sharing knowledge; which he indulges not only as a valued Spring trainer, but also by being an active member of the Program Committee for the GOTO Amsterdam conference. Abraham aspires to become a better software developer every day, and genuinely hopes that he can inspire other software developers to do the same. That’s why we are absolutely thrilled to have Abraham on board at GOTO.
