Alan Kay will be at GOTO Amsterdam 2020!

January 31, 2020

We’re on a continuous quest to get the pioneers, inventors and rockstars to share their invaluable insights at each GOTO Conference we bring you.

This year we’re topping all of that with a speaker announcement we’re immensely proud of: Alan Kay will be a keynote presenter at GOTO Amsterdam 2020!

Alan is known for pioneering many of the ideas at the root of contemporary object-oriented programming languages, leading the team that developed Smalltalk, making fundamental contributions to personal computing, and for the creation of the concept of modern personal computing and contributing to its realization.

He’s been handed multiple awards of the highest degree, including the ACM Turing Award, NAE Draper Prize and the Kyoto Prize.

Discussing whether software engineering is still an oxymoron, this keynote is not one to miss.
